I couldn’t agree more with Ailsa. As unrest and violence continue to threaten our communities, countries (remembering Mali with the recent attacks) and the whole world, it has never been this important to stay united.

Whether through communities

in celebration

Folk dance in Czech

or simply having fun with snow (oh, did I tell you it snowed at last!)

Snow sculpting in Finland

whilst we remain vigilant.

Now and again I get an opportunity to work with other expats, and I enjoy the camaraderie of a tight-knit sisterhood brought together by a common experience even though we come from different backgrounds.

  2. Beautiful photos of people working and playing together, Cocoa. Love the quote. Wouldn’t it be great if everyone felt the same way as Mother Teresa? 🙂
